Tonight was our last meeting before our Zambia trip— it’s a little overwhelming and totally exciting to think that in less than 3 short months we will be in Africa!!!! I can’t wait to see what God is going to do in the lives of the children we meet, and in our lives as well.
I got a note on my computer at work about a month ago from my sweet friend Jordyn……

She has such a sweet heart, and wanted to help people in Africa. She had $6 and wanted to know what was needed. I gave her a list of a couple of things, but also a flyer from Family Legacy Missions International, the organization we will be going to Zambia with, that gave her the opportunity to give money for fleece jackets we will be giving the children. The jackets are $10 each—so sweet Jordyn and her friend Katie had a garage sale yesterday and raised $250!! They came to our meeting tonight to learn a little more about what we are doing, and they got to go up on stage and tell everyone about the money they raised—way to go girls!! I’m going to take their picture with me so that the Zambian children can see the girls who got them their jackets.
The girls had a great time. However, they are not happy with the 25 jackets. Jordyn told me when she got home that they still want to get enough money to buy 50 jackets.
