It never ceases to amaze me how dumb some parents are—maybe the world is just getting a lot more liberal, but I prefer to stay in my own little conservative bubble–thank you!

My friend called me absolutely furious yesterday.  Her nine year old son spent the night over at a friend’s  house for his birthday;  a house he had been to on many occassions.  When he arrived home the next morning he told his mom that the friend’s dad had his girlfriend over to spend the night too!  She was totally blown away.

When she asked what she should do, I told her that I would have to call that dad and express my dismay.  If he wants to expose his own child to his affairs that’s his business, but that is not what I want my child exposed to.  The spending the night would be done at my house from now on.

Children learn from what they see, not always by what you say— I hope this dad is prepared for whats to come when his son is 16!
