Up until a couple of months ago I didn’t know what a blog was or how one goes about blogging.  My daughter in law Mindy started “blogging”, so I added it to my favs so that I could see what she was up to.  Then I realized it’s like an online diary—kinda!  After seeing how many people comment and check out her blog, I realized that this is the way that young people communicate.  I am not real computer saavy, but I do like to be “in the know” about the latest and greatest; therefore, I am joining the bloggers.

Josh is really the one who convinced me to blog – after listening to me complain about  people with poor parenting skills, he told me I should help them out by blogging. I really just wanted to recommend a good book, but he helped me to see that people look for help on the computer before they read.  I am hoping that my experience as a mother, teacher, and director will be useful to others.  I am continually asked parenting questions, so I guess I’ll just put it out there and hope it helps someone.  If it’s not something your interested in, then you can always check out Mindy’s blog — her’s is real good!
