I know I know I know—it’s been a while since I’ve blogged!  My computer was broken last week and my technical guru (Wray) was out of town.  He’s got me back up and blogging now!

Just in time to tell you about our little jaunt over to Las Vegas–my first time there.    What an incredible place!  There are lots of creative people with money who dreamed up all those hotels-wow!  It was fun to look or should I say “gawk” at all the sights — including the people.  The casinos didn’t do too much for me, first because I’m cheap, second because I hate being around so much smoke, and third, I’m too ADD to sit still that long.  We did go to the Mandalay Theatre to see Mamma Mia! – it was awesome!  Other than the show, I guess some of my favorites was the MGM all you can eat buffet–delicious, and a little snack stop we made at the Ghiradelli Chocolate Shop!  We walked blisters on our feet so I didn’t feel guilty at all!!!

We drove up and saw Hoover Dam, it’s pretty incredible, American ingenuity at its finest. 

We also drove over to Red Rock Canyon–it’s absolutely gorgeous!!  We would love to go back and do some hiking around that area—and yes, this fat girl did say she would like to hike!
