I’m thankful!

I have had a sore mouth for a month, but after my root canal today I feel good!! – so I am thankful for my dentist! I am also very thankful for insurance-I don’t know how people without insurance can do it.
I am also thankful that Josh is home safe from Zambia. He’s going to start blogging about Zambia so I’ll give you his link when he gets it going. He was able to meet some great children like Emma here. He also had fun getting to know the Family Legacy Zambian staff. He is so happy working for Family Legacy Missions, and I am very thankful for that.
I am thankful that Jacob and Wes were home, and are both doing so well. I will be happy to have them both home a little longer during Christmas. I sometimes miss the things we use to do when they were little, but I am very thankful that they have grown up to be such awesome young men.
I guess the biggest thing that I’m thankful for these days is that I have been born in this country. My Africa trips have taught me that not everyone has all the luxuries in life that we do—whether that’s electricity, running water or freedom of religion. The t.v. news and newspapers remind us every day that there are people all over the globe that are not as lucky as we are. No matter how bad our economy seems, I am thankful I can walk to my sink for water and not have to walk miles to the nearest well! Whether I agree with my government leaders or not, at least thy are not killing people who have views that differ from theirs. I don’t have to worship where the government deems, nor do I have to declare loyalty to the government leaders who are corrupt. Thanksgiving should really be a year round holiday, we have lots to be thankful for!!

So is Josh working for Family Lagacy Missions? That is SOOO COOL! What does he do for them?
