I’ve received lots of kind words, emails, and concerned phone calls over the last couple of days—thanks for everyone’s kind words and thoughts on our little job situation. I use the word little because that’s really what it is—don’t get me wrong, I’m still battling worry, but the Bible is very clear about worrying about earthly things.
It’s time for me to spend time working on BIG things–like helping others. I am extremely excited about all the stuff we’re receiving to go into the new homes of the Zambian orphans. Knowing that 84 abused and orphaned children are moving into brand new homes in May is awesome! The predicament of these children makes my problem seem very “little”. I would love to see their faces as they walk into their new rooms with beautiful beds, tables and books, or sitting down to a table where they will be able to eat as a family—wow!!! I am hoping to still make it to Zambia this summer (God’s going to have to take care of the cost since I can’t right now) so I will be able to meet the children and see their new places.
Josh met Rose in November when she was abandoned by her family.
This is just the beginning— Family Legacy wants to build more houses for more children as well as a school and a hospital. It’s exciting to be part of such a tremendous ministry where God is doing great things—join us in helping others —-where our little efforts are making a big difference!!
