It’s always easy to say that God is taking care of things when everything is going well–it’s another when things aren’t going so well!  Things aren’t going so well at the Rives house—after 12 years, Wray’s position was eliminated at work—a sucker punch for sure!

I know that God knows all things and that He is going to take care of us, but it’s another thing to try to put worry to rest when the bills keep going but the income doesn’t.  As a self confessed control freak, I must admit that I am having a hard time letting go of the worry. (especially when we are paying for two kids in college)  I. have the utmost confidence in Wray’s abilities, it’s just that this is a mighty tough time to be looking for a job.

In a book I am reading it talks about God taking care of the sparrows, so I know he’ll take care of us (there’s a song in there somewhere).  Yet sometimes the worry creeps back in, and I try to fix things all over again!  I’m trying real hard to be a quick learner.
